My STORY

Hey, I’m Joseph. I run RAKO Media.

Most of the people that come to me are tired…

Tired of guessing what to post.
Tired of feeling like social media is a constant chore.
Tired of paying for support that never quite delivers what was promised.

Often, they’ve tried working with someone else before. An external team, a freelancer, or a more traditional setup. And it didn’t feel right. Too hands-off. Too templated. Or too disconnected from their actual business.

RAKO Media exists because I saw a better way to do it.

Before this, I spent years in hospitality, learning how to read a room, earn trust and understand what people actually respond to. Those skills became the foundation of how I approach content and strategy.

From there, I moved into the marketing world, working as a Social Media Specialist in an agency. That’s where I sharpened my strategic thinking, learned how to plan content with intent, and saw firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and why so many businesses feel overwhelmed by social media.

What stood out to me was how often good businesses were overcomplicating things, or paying for support that looked impressive but lacked care, context, and follow-through.

So I took what I’d learned and applied it differently.

RAKO Media is a one-person studio by design. When you work with me, you’re not passed between people or processes. You’re working directly with someone who takes ownership of your brand and treats it with the care it deserves.

I’m not here to churn out cheap content or force your business into a formula that doesn’t fit. I listen first. I think deeply. And I create work that helps you feel clear, confident, and proud of how your business shows up online.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want things done properly, we should talk. Especially if you value quality, trust, and a considered approach.

Tell me where you’re at. We’ll take it from there.
